atsec participates in HIMSS07, offers expanded HIPAA consulting services

- NEW ORLEANS, LA, January 12, 2007 - atsec will staff a booth at the exhibition (booth #2783), offering details about its recently-expanded HIPAA consulting services. atsec offers HIPAA security consulting and vulnerability assessments and provides clients with comparative information and baselines against industry standard practices in addition to the HIPAA-mandated security and privacy review items. The types of reviews available include:

- A general on-site interview with personnel, system analysis, policy and procedure review and remediation suggestions.
- A detailed review of an entity"s HIPAA security and privacy compliance as compared to each of the required implementation specifications, which includes a detail report and gap analysis.
