One day he wanders into the forest where he meets a boy named Tiki who comes from another world in the 5th Galaxy. They become good friends, and after a frightening encounter, befriend a bear called Old Scratcher. The 3 new friends set off on their adventure in Tiki"s Time Traveller to rescue Dougal"s mother who has been kidnapped by a gang of marauding Vikings. Along the way, they meet a dragon monster, the Deil"s Dog, who turns out to be different than what you"d expect. They have a secret weapon with which to attack the Vikings.

The story continues, and we find our 3 friends trying to trace Tiki"s brother, Toki. He came from the 5th Galaxy on a mission to find Tiki and take him home. Along the way, he encounters problem with the Time Traveller resulting in him getting lost, being scared half to death by giant sea serpents and taken prisoner by angry clansmen. He is held captive in a large castle that is surrounded by a deep moat. Will Tiki ever find his brother? Can they get him out of the castle?

About the Author: Martin Parker was born and grew up in the West Coast town of Greenock in Scotland. He now lives with his wife Donna and their two boys Craig and Adam on the East Coast in the town of Carnoustie. This is his first work of fiction.
