HighTower Hosts Annual St. Fidelis Food Drive
/24-7PressRelease.com/ - January 14, 2005 - Skokie, Illinois - On November 23, 2004, HighTower, an authorized reseller, designer and implementer of accounting and business management technology solutions, held its Annual St. Fidelis Food Drive and collected over $2,500 in goods.
St. Fidelis is located in the deprived neighborhood of Humbolt Park in Chicago. In an effort to assist the St. Fidelis community, HighTower began its charity work for the church back in 1995. HighTower raises donations through its annual food and clothing drives, and an annual golf outing. This year, HighTower partnered with Journeys from PADS to HOPE, a charity organization that provides food donations to community centers year-round, rather than just during the holiday season.
"HighTower"s food drive is one of the annual cornerstones of our "OutReach" program," stated Jeff Rosengarden, Chief Executive Officer at HighTower. "Our staff"s efforts, coupled with our partnering effort, this year, with "Journeys from Pads To Hope", will go a long ways to insuring that St. Fidelis"s cupboards remain full during the upcoming year. "
HighTower employees were especially determined this year to raise food donations, and achieved 100% employee participation, raising over $2500. The parish members of St. Fidelis were extremely grateful for the proceeds, and are very excited about the possibility of having their food pantry filled year-round with the help of Journeys from PADS to HOPE organization.
