Thailand Jewelry Pros Launch Marketing Agency

- August 07, 2005 - Kirk Bentham and D.A. Blyler have announced the launch of a new marketing and brand agency aimed at assisting South-East Asia"s thriving gemstone and jewelry industry. Bentham (the former Marketing Director of Thaigem.com) and Blyler (the former Creative Director of Carl Blackburn Fine Jewelry) come to the table with a strong track record. The two jewelry veterans have successfully placed photographic and editorial coverage of company jewelry in publications around the globe, ranging from Thailand"s The Nation, and Manee Magazine to Europe"s Basel Magazine and Jewellery Review (Russia) to North America"s JCK, Modern Jeweler, National Jeweler, Canadian Jeweler, Professional Jeweler, Instore Magazine, and Trendz—to name but a few.

According to Bentham, the new agency (simply named The Marketing Department) specializes in assisting jewelry firms with small scale projects such as writing and distributing press releases, developing ad concepts, and producing brochures and newsletters. Their services also include brand building and strengthening corporate identities. Employing a seasoned group of freelance photographers, graphic designers, website technicians, and writers savvy to the jewelry industry, The Marketing Department will manage media projects from start to finish, with exceptional skill and efficiency.

"Many companies simply cannot afford to have a fully staffed in-house marketing staff," says Bentham. "So they are forced to outsource projects to teams that have little understanding of the fine gems and jewelry market. But with The Marketing Department, jewelry firms, large or small, can remain confident that they are dealing with professionals who are as passionate about jewelry as they are."

To introduce its services to Bangkok"s gems and jewelry industry, The Marketing Department is offering a free 10 Point CI and Brand Check-Up, to assess the health of a company"s brand. Appointments can be made by calling Mr Bentham at: +66(0) 1781-4648. More information about company services can be found at: www.tmdbangkok.com
