Genie Bancor Announces the Genie

-/24-7pressrelease.com/ -- September 24, 2004 -- Genie Bancor announced a new addition to their Genie product line today - The Genie WorldFamily Card, an ATM card designed for customers to easily send funds to their family and friends anywhere in the world at the lowest price-point in the industry.

"The Genie WorldFamily Card is a very exciting new product, because of the incredible savings and ease it offers to our customers," said Genie Bancor President Randall Skala. "In one simple package, we"ve solved all the problems of high fees, slow transfer times and limited access to funds that have plagued people for years."

Skala went on to explain, "When someone signs up for the Genie WorldFamily Card, they get the card and a set of deposit slips for Bank of America and/or for Wells Fargo Bank. All they need to do is purchase a Genie WorldFamily Card, activate the card and then send it to the person who will be getting the money. After that, they can use the deposit slips at any branch of Wells Fargo Bank or Bank of America to add money to the card."

Deposits to the card carry only a one dollar and fifty cent ($1.50) fee, unlike wire services which typically charge as much as fifty dollars ($50) to transfer money to a location outside of the United States. The deposited funds will be available the next business day following the deposit, and can be withdrawn from virtually any ATM worldwide, rather than requiring the recipient to go to a specific wire company office. The Genie WorldFamily Card charges include a $5 Monthly Fee and the customary fees charged when processing an ATM card. (ATM charges may fluctuate from country to country and machine owners may add transaction fees on their ATM"s.)
