The IASC proudly promotes safe and responsible recreational snowmobiling, while encouraging snowmobilers to keep the general welfare of both participants and non-participants in mind.

The Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs sponsors numerous activities that benefit Illinois snowmobile club members and non-members. IASC volunteer members receive snowmobile safety instructor training from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), and then offer classes throughout the state. Members of the IASC receive a subscription to the Illinois Snowmobiler. The Illinois Snowmobiler is a magazine packed with informative trail features, timely events coverage, and national and local news about snowmobiling that you would not read anywhere else. The IASC watches snowmobile issues in Illinois and nationwide and keeps its members and nonmembers apprised of the circumstances. The organization also provides an informational website accessible to all snowmobilers.
