Progress in the competitivity for the Romanian capital The top largest IT companies: IBM, Microsoft, Romsys


- BUCHAREST, ROMANIA, November 13, 2006 - "We are more than honored to receive this accolade " declared Mr Marius Cojanu, President of Romsys. "This top award confirms the entrance of the company in new stages of corporative development, stages where the number and importance of our projects are constantly increasing. Moreover, Romsys has increased the number of complex projects performed for our customers abroad".
Only in this year, Romsys invested in a new headquarters with the lastest generation infrastructure and modern work conditions, located in Bucharest Business Park.
"After all, this is also an area where we compete with other companies from Romania and abroad" added Mr Cojanu. "Nevertheless, this move is a gesture of acknowledgement, appreciation and gratefulness to the Romsys team, the people that have turned a company founded in 1993 in an apartment, into one of the leaders of IT&C Romanian market.
The company financial results clearly show that Romsys is one of the few IT companies from Romania, that have succeeded to have a continuous high value growth rate.

The other local Romanian companies which have participated in the "Top 10 IT Large Companies" are: Siveco, Ness Romania, Oracle, Forte Computers, S&T Romania, UTI Systems and Softwin.

Romsys solutions and services target a large range of customers both in the public sector - defense and public security, education, health and justice and in the private sector - financial services, telecommunications, energy, iron & steel and automotive industry.
