- WYOMISSING, PA, December 13, 2006 - Effective December 6, 2006, TravelSafe Insurance gives policyholders the option to choose their hospital when medical evacuation is deemed necessary. This new "Hospital of Choice" benefit, which TravelSafe expects will generate a lot of interest, means the traveler can now choose to be evacuated to any hospital within the USA or Canada, provided the cost does not exceed the cost of a medical evacuation to his or her home city.

This new benefit is available to policyholders of TravelSafe"s popular Vacation, Custom and Premier plans.
