- BOULDER, CO, December 15, 2006 — VeloGear is accepting entries for the 2007 Dave Brinton Cycling Caricature Contest!
Dave Brinton is the illustrator of the popular VeloNews magazine column, "At the Back". Brinton"s illustrations are featured in Les H ros du V lo, an illustrated 2007 calendar featuring 12 of the great cyclists of the twentieth century.
Celebrate 2007 in style with Les H ros du V lo, Brinton"s personal tribute to the legends of cycling. The Cannibal, the Badger, the Eagle of Toledo: Twelve great riders of the twentieth century come to life in Brinton"s stylish portraits.
To win, submit a photograph of yourself on a ride or participating in a cycling-related activity by January 1, 2007. A panel of judges will select one photograph for Brinton to illustrate. Please visit VeloGear.com to see examples of illustrations from the 2007 Brinton calendar.
