Mission Recycling Completes Purchase

- POMONA, CA, December 17, 2006 - Mission Recycling, Pomona, CA has completed the purchase of Pomona Valley Recycling, also of Pomona.

Al Solis, owner of Mission says, "This purchase will afford Mission the opportunity to keep up with the continued growth of our business and permit our team to enter new fields."

Solis continued, "The addition of an almost 5 acre facility will assist in more efficient processing of commercial material and give us room for the collection and processing of Electronic Waste and other electronic surplus commodities. A new division has been formed for that purpose and will be in full operation by January, 2007."

"We will also offer better service to the local communities, our customers, and provide additional jobs" he continued.

Extensive remodeling is now in progress at the new location.

The company will operate both facilities as Mission Recycling.

Mission Recycling processes over 450,000 tons of source separated, single stream recyclables from over 100 municipal curbside recycling programs, and operates two full service Buyback Centers.

Each facility encompasses both automated and traditional sorting methods.
