FINE Hosts Student Delegation From the Um Umara Secondary School for Girls

- AMMAN, JORDAN, December 21, 2006 - FINE Co. Ltd., part of Nuqul Group, recently hosted a student delegation from the Um Umara Secondary School for Girls. The delegation visited one of FINE"s factories, located in Sahab, as part of an INJAZ initiative, a Jordanian organization that offers training opportunities for students to prepare them for their entry into the job market. The visit was part of a curriculum which INJAZ offers entitled "Me and My Surrounding Environment".

The visiting delegation was supervised by FINE volunteer Naheda Habash. During its proceedings, participating students received a full overview about FINE as a company, its achievements and its goals.

The delegation was met by Mr. Radi Sarayra, from the Safety Department and Mr. Amjad Imseeh, from the Quality Assurance Department. Both Mr. Sarayra and Mr. Imseeh led the students through a tour in the factory and explained to them about the production lines and the process of producing sanitary, hygiene, and toiletry products for the whole family.

The visit was deemed a success, as the participating students benefited greatly from the information they gained. They were also able to receive answers about importing and exporting products.

From his end, Mr. Mohammed Khalil a coordinator from INJAZ thanked FINE and Nuqul group for their ongoing support to the organization and its youth programs. He added that such support helps to inevitably create a productive new generation.

What"s worth mentioning, that FINE as a leading entity working within Jordan"s private sector, continuously supports INJAZ and its youth initiatives. Every year, FINE"s contribution is by either sending volunteers or by supporting or sponsoring programs initiated by INJAZ.

It is important to note that INJAZ was first launched in the year 1999 in cooperation with the "Save the Children" Organization and through a grant given by the USAID. By the year 2001, it evolved to become a national none for profit organization. The change was officially announced during a ceremonial event held under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and in the year 2003, INJAZ became part of the schooling system and is delivered to student during school hours. INJAZ enjoys being a member of the Junior Achievement World Wide Initiative.
