NJ DEVIL JOINS LOCAL ARTIST/EDUCATOR TO PROMOTE SPORTS THROUGH ART
- ORADELL, NJ, January 21, 2007 - Sports Artist, Tony Capparelli (dubbed "The Michelangelo of the Meadowlands", by Stan Fischler) will conduct another "Art of Sport "Clinic on Presidents Day February 19th at the
Yogi Berra Museum and learning Center in Little Falls, NJ. The clinic will run from 1-4 PM. The event is sponsored by Columbia Bank of Fair Lawn.
Joining our participants will be the New Jersey Devils Mascot, who will pose as an Art model for all our young Sports Artists.
A video presentation will also be shown, showcasing Tony"s airbrush painting of NJ Devils Goalie Martin Brodeur from start to finish. Tony is a noted Sports Artist and teacher in the Illustration Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Seton Hall University. A video link of the Brodeur feature can be viewed at:

The clinic is open to all between the ages of 5-13. Aspiring Artists are encouraged to bring their portfolio"s for a professional evaluation.
