Is Acne Ruining Your Social Life, Or Your Self-Esteem?

- OLYMPIA, WA, January 22, 2007 - Acne can be a major issue in anybody"s life; causing self-esteem issues, social anxiety, and sometimes even embarrassment. Acne sufferers often face harassment or discrimination for something that is beyond their control. It is not just teenagers that suffer from acne, adults suffer as well, often times on several parts of their body, such as arms, back, and face.

"I have suffered from acne ever since I was a freshman in high school." said Jonathan Houseman, a 26-year old from Seattle, Washington. "I had tried a number of creams and medications with no real results. I was beginning to lose hope."

Jonathan had been living with acne for over 7 years of his life, often causing problems with his social life and self-esteem. Acne is a problem that plagues millions of teenagers and adults alike, without prejudice. If not treated, acne can lead to more serious problems, such as scarring and depression.

For some people, minor cases of acne can be treated with simple solutions like creams, lotions, pills, sea salts, or mud baths. However, the majority of acne sufferers need a treatment that will not only work fast and effectively, but will keep future breakouts from happening. Often times an expensive visit to the doctor will be sought out.

Jonathan was able to overcome his acne problem with a simple treatment that he found online. "I found a resource that really helped me out," said Jonathan.
