Make a Valentine"s Resolution This Year
- SANTA BARBARA, CA, February 01, 2007 - "Hello! One day out of the year?" asks Leon Scott Baxter, America"s Romance Guru. "What, we buy a card, give candies and flowers, go out for dinner; that"s our idea of romance? No wonder we have a 50% divorce rate in this country. To keep love alive, fresh and exciting, romance needs to be a regular part of our relationships."
Baxter, who runs the website www.CouplesCommittedToLove.com, is challenging couples to take his 52 Week Challenge (http://www.couplescommittedtolove.com/report_8_challenge.html). He explains that romance, like anything new we implement into our lives is difficult to maintain until it becomes habitual. And, his report walks couples through the steps of becoming "lifelong romantics."
Baxter, born in Detroit but raised in California, considers himself a "street smart relationship expert."
"Although I do a lot of researching, I"m not formally trained in counseling, psychology or relationships. I learned by watching, listening and doing," he explains. "For years people asked me to write books on romance, counsel couples, or hold seminars." Finally, Baxter broke down and wrote his first book, Out of the Doghouse: A Man"s Secret Survival Guide to Romance.
Since becoming America"s Romance Guru, he"s given advice online, on radio, in his newspaper column. He"s written the books, counseled the couples, and held the seminars he was asked to so many years before.
"I never thought my life would take me here. But, I truly love helping couples stay happy and in love. It"s a tremendous feeling to know I help fan the flames of love in this world."
Baxter has helped over 20,000 men and women. If you would like to learn more information or schedule an interview with Leon Scott Baxter visit his website, www.CouplesCommittedToLove.com, email him at Info
