Los Angeles Non Profit, Valley Interfaith Council Announces Fundraising Event

- STERLING HEIGHTS, MI, February 06, 2007 - VIC, one of Los Angeles" primary agencies providing food programs, draws together to help ease the suffering of so many people in our nation and the world. Tragically, relief teams have identified a high level of trauma impacting the children. Themes of fear and depression are clearly reflected in interactive activities; preliminary assessments show that children have been deeply affected by the aggressions of war, with 60 percent demonstrating substantial symptoms of depression. VIC is currently planning fundraising efforts to directly benefit ULR.
