Abu Khader Group Launches Internal Blood Donation Campaign

- AMMAN, JORDAN, February 14, 2007 - Abu Khader Group recently launched an extensive blood donation campaign during which the Abu Khader team was able to donate more than 30 units of blood.

It is important to note that the Abu Khader group has an account at the Jordan blood bank. This account has been used in the past to provide Abu Khader employees and their families with the blood they need to cure emergency conditions. It has especially proven to be of great help to team members" families and friends in need of special care during the second half of 2006.

Commenting on the campaign, Mr. Nicola George Abu Khader, President & CEO of Abu Khader, said, "This campaign was launched to echo our strong belief in the importance of social development. On another level, this initiative also helped strengthen ties between Abu Khader"s team members. It is such charitable and humanitarian efforts that help us push both our organization and the community at large forward."

Mr. Abu Khader added that such initiatives help highlight the strong sense of loyalty Abu Khader Group"s team members feel towards the company where they work " On this occasion I would like to thank everyone who participated in this campaign for it is this strong sense of dedication to both one"s work and one"s country that pushes both ourselves and our country forward" he said.

Abu Khader Group"s social committee voiced their gratitude further by sending out a circular to all team members thanking them for their participation in the campaign. In the same circular, the firm also voiced its full understanding towards those team members unable to be at the Sahab Industrial area during the donation time.
